Battery dead

Hi all, I have a problem with my 2009 civic battery. It drains after a few days. It has had a new battery, we have tried 2. 2 garages have looked and said they can not find a fault. It has been to auto electrician and apparently no drain.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Re: Battery dead

you really need a multimeter and free time to figure this out. you need to measure the "ignition off draw" and pull fuses one by one and note any change in reading. if nothing seems to have any effect, common causes are aftermarket alarms, remote starters, incorrectly installed radios, GPS trackers from "no credit required" dealers, BAID units, incorrect re-wiring after removing any of those(and if you purched an auction car, you may have any of those unknowingly installed). other placed to look are glove box and vanity mirror lights staying on un-noticed, faulty switches(such as fog lights), failing body control modules, etc. these are all common for your issue. usually after 15 pages they'll mention some sort of aftermarket crap they initially failed to mention either because they forgot, didn't think it was relevant, or didn't know the previous owner or dealer installed it.
