Need help with headlights
Re: Need help with headlights
There are several post on how to wet sand your headlights back to normal, you can also get a thing called Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish from walmart. I used it all the time on my old 97 Civic. They always turned yellow again after a few months but they look like new when you clean em. Sanding them down is the best way tho.
Re: Need help with headlights
I've had the best luck with Meguiar's Plast-x from Wal-Mart. Its about $4-5 for the bottle and does a pretty good job at cleaning the hazy yellow film. As with other similar products, a slight yellow tint (but no haze) will come back after a few months, but its nothing that another application can't fix.
I've heard and seen pictures of amazing results from wet-sanding but haven't tried that method myself.
Good luck!

Re: Need help with headlights
i heard with the meguires' plastic-x, it will work, but eventually the yellow will come back. you'll have to wet sand the headlights to ensure the oxidation (yellowness) stays off.
