I'm wondering how or if a Honda OEM radio swap will affect the vehicle's security system. I know that working with the current radio I have to reenter the security code when I reconnect the battery, so I'm wondering if this security feature is simply for the radio or if it's tied into the vehicle's security/immobilizer system. i.e.-Will a radio swap require any changes/programming of our keys/fobs?

no, it should not...

radio code just ensures the radio isn't stolen or something like that.
