Arrow tranny fluid?

how many quarts of tranny fluid does a my 94 civic dx 5 speed take? were is the darn dipstick for the tranny also? and is it hard to drain out the old trany fluid?

Tranny doesnt have a dip stick... and look in the manual, it says in the back.

Manual transmissions dont have dip sticks. And if the 94 civic's transmission is anything like the 7thgen's, it shouldnt be that hard.

Get under the car and you should see two bolts on the trans. The lower bolt is for draining the fluid, the upper for adding fluid. Add fluid (on level ground) until it starts coming out of the bolt hole. There is no dipstick for manual trans.

Two quarts sounds about right. I'd say absolutely no more than three.
