It takes 5w-20. Best one? Best for what application?

I'd say go with M1 5w-20 and change it every 5k miles if you want peace of mind and feel the need to run a syn oil. If you want to go cheap, then go with a dino such as Motorcraft. Most of the 5w-20 oils are well built. If you do a search you'll find even more answers and greater discussion.

"What kind of oil" is always such a subjective post...

I personally run a full synthetic 0w20 oil. I can't reccomend one oil over another. I do reccomend a full synthetic oil however.

It depends on your climate, and how you drive. There's a great website, I think it's the oildrop, or something like that... great resource for information on oils.

As Flashlightboy said, do some searches for more information and what other people are doing.

I personally run RL 5w-20 and the M1-110 filter with a change at every 5k or 6 months, whichever comes first.

As 4drcivic said, BITOG is where the info is at although some of has migrated here from people who are members of both forums.

For me: Mobil 1 5w20 with a OEM Filtech filter every 3,000 miles.
