Smile Em2 Civic AXLE Removal DIY 1st one made

Hi im going to show you how to remove both axles from a auto 01 civic ex or manaul. the manual has some less steps

first lift car on jacks and remove wheels

then you see the spring and strut

1. remove the 2 bolts

then remove the big nut in the center of the wheel

you dont have to remove the abs knock sensor but its recommend

carefully hammer out the center

then slide out

then go under car

remove all the shift linkage cables and covers

hammer the tabs out if the way and remove the screw

then get a crow bar and press out till the axle pops out

BECAREFUL DONT PULL ON AXLE IF NOT POPED OUT

remove bolts

remove brake line holder and abs knock wire holder or it will tear

Nice work.

Few things: I'd show how to get the axle nut off first (use a flathead to take take the notch out, then use ) and then do the two bolts holding the brake assemble on.
