yeah you can just install it like that already assembled. one trick i learned is you should get some sandpaper and sand off the outside of the filter inlet that goes in the rubber coupler. otherwise the filter has a tendency to fall out while driving. its too slippery i guess. also after you sand the filter, wipe it off with alcohol and also wipe inside the rubber connector.

like 80 grit? just to rough it up. yeah the very bottom you have in red. not the trim around the actual filter mesh

yes yes very muchh =) i feel a tiny bit of power increase, but it could be my imagination =)

although when i drive i have a squeaking noise at about 1600 rpms (annoying as hell) and idk wut it is, it came when i had stock air system and now i have secret wr and its still there so its not my intake =// mechanic time next weekend

check for that stupid black ac hose hitting the neuspeed bar if you have one, or the metal ac lines hitting the car body. it might actually just be a loose belt tho?

okay ill check tomorrow when i can, but the odd thing...my car has to be in drive...in neutral or park it doesnt make the sound, so idk

yeah the motor shakes alot in drive. you may want to open the hood and see when someone else sits in the car with the car in drive and foot on brake.
