got new project car
my friend just gave a 87 RX-7
doesn't run, but free is free
garage collection:
05 Kawasaki 636 (street bike)
01 Honda F4i (Track only bike)
03 Honda Civic EX (Track/daily/bike tow)

I would look into an LS1 for that. Big power and a light aluminum engine = win!
I belive it is actually lighter than the stock engine, so it really shouldnt mess up the handling any, and it would be a rocket-ship!
There are a ton of companies/people doing that swap, so getting mounts and stuff should be fairly easy.

I have an 88 FC3S too! Same body style. Mine is just a winter warrior, but used to be a great track car. Had some Tein SS's and you dont need much more than a factory non turbo or turbo motor to do well. Handled amazing. The car has perfect 50/50 weight I believe and if you got the cheapest one, its damn light. I would go OEM motor because its cheaper and will be nice.
