Power steering problems at autox?

I went to my first autox this past weekend and noticed that going through the slalom the power steering couldn't keep up with the steering. Is there anything to help this out when out on the track? I noticed a couple of the SM cars has super large power steeing pumps and never had a problem. Is there any fix like this for the civic?

I've never personally had any problems.... But it could happen. Check the power steering fluid, it may need replacing.

robs fluid bubbles, mine foams. Air in the system can cause inconsistent power steering, but I havent felt it yet. I guess the fluid can't take the heat.
