intake setup (please read before flaming)
since i have the battery in the back now.
i'm thinking of taking my right headlight off on track days. this way, i'll get plenty of
cool air coming into the intake area.
so i'm thinking of getting a intake. i was thinking about a short ram intake, but i think i'll work better if i can get the filter up to where the stock battery is.
so my friend wants to make a custom intake with a k&n cone filter. he made intercooler piping so its not a big deal.
what do u guys think? would the aem sri be good enough or go custom to get it up to the headlight??

well there are a few different ways to go about it. Personally though the headlight idea is good in theory, it will require you to take your bumper off and on to get it out. You can try to fit it where the Injen one sits or try to get it inside the bumper right in front of the radiator (like those fake intercooler ones). just something to think about.

Who told you it didn't work? It certainly does work. High end not so much, but it picks up a lot harder.
Its a stock DC2 arm, and airbox, no resonator and a piece of my old Injen that I used to turn it into the TB, with a Comptech filter.
