Weird Q..
We whant to star some Auto Croos competitions here in mexico, i was wonderign anyone know where i could buy some traffic cones?? no one here sells them cuz i can only way to buy is if I am a traffic officer...

Rep Power: 318 ^holy **** I never realized how expensive it must be to put on an autoX event... at least a couple hundred cones at $5 - $15 a pop!! Unless they get them used or something.

Rep Power: 380 For our local region, we need about 70 cars to run for us to break even. we average 75 cars an event........
but we get 8-12 runs per event Vs 3 at most regions (with 200 cars...)

Rep Power: 318 ^damn u suck, last event we were supposed to have 4 runs, but we got shorted one due to an assload of people showing up that day. It was kindof cool to see the sport growing, but sad at the same time, I worry that it will get bastardized as with everything that gets popular.

I WISH I got more than 3 runs....I'm HAPPY if I get 4, but usually it' only 3...damn popularity...lol

It'll prolly be towards the end of the season, but I just might. You could show me a few things.
BTW...do you guys have a winter series? If so, THAT would prolly be the optimal time for me...
(You're prolly saying "Oh ****, I was just kidding..." ... SORRY man, you made the invite, lol.)
You should come up to Colorado, and run with us. Less runs, but it's a HUGE event every time. We even have it catered!! (Barf wagon, but it's still grub!)

CivicMexicano, get ahold of the SCCA . I know you are in Mexico, but they may be able to point you at who does autocross in Mexico! or they may be able to help you start a club.
