Owned a 2006 civic for half a year and...

So far, I've dealt with dumb spark plug issues lol. The previous owner stripped one of the holes and had me stranded when I put new ones in. I ended up hex coil or whatever and fixed it. But while I was doing that.. I stripped the bolt that holds the ignition coil down but things were fine...

half a year later and I swear my clutch was slipping. I would rev and my RPM would jump but no acceleration. I was so confused because the clutch feels great! ... Turns out it was that bolt that I never fixed... I finally swapped out the old one and installed a new one so that my ignition coil can stay down on the boot and BANG! My car doesn't over rev anymore and acceleration is back to normal.

I'm making this thread to let civic owners know that... sometimes... the problem to your civic can be something very little and you don't have to do something like change your clutch... mechanics trying to quote me 800-1100 for a new clutch and I was like hell no...

I'm new, whats up all?
