ok so i dont know **** when it comes to cars, im hoping that joining this **** that you guys can help me to not feel so retarded when i go to meets. i drive an 01 red and black civic ex. i wanna do stuff to my car but idk where to start.

Suspension upgrades are what a lot of people do. Coilovers, sway bar upgrade, tower bars, under braces, and poly bushings. Wheel upgrades, HID's and audio upgrades like head unit and subs are also popular.

Headers, intake and exhaust all add power but not a whole lot so don't expect to make big horsepower numbers unless your going to drop some cash. Those things are still worth the investment to a certain degree in my opinion.

If you want serious power either a k-swap or turbo is the way to go. All depends on your budget and what kind of setup you want to run.

You will learn what words and things mean just from looking on the forum and searching for stuff that you don't understand. I didn't know what a DC5, k-swap, or even that my car was an ES1 before I joined. Just be patient, search and ask questions (after searching) and you will get it.
