old seattle - 84 wagovan owner
I've had it a year and I'm not a Honda guy. It has a crate engine from a 85 GL I just found out and that's why it's still pretty perky.
If I keep this thing I need to learn how to identify part numbers, to research interchangeability. Also, once that's done, to look for work arounds when the parts just don't exist any more.
Right now I need door rubber, on the door and on the body. I also need a bright light switch... it won't stay bright... worn down. I need a new wiper switch because when it starts getting a lot of use, it threatens to not work at all or will only work on high speed.
Some of these parts, like switch plugs, have a configuration that is unique to the Wagovan, because of the rear window wipers.
I'd like to keep this rig, and do some of the cosmetic stuff this Summer, but if I keep hitting road blocks, parts wise, I may think better of it.
Howdy, ya'all.
