hello! i'm a newbie

hello! i'm new to this forum i need some help/advice. i have a 2006 honda civic ex 2dr. i don't know much about cars but i do want to put a little style on my car thats why i'm here. i just recently purchased the xentec hid conversion kit for my low beam (9006-6000k). i am now thinking of getting the lights for my fog lights (H11) and DRL (9005).. are the bulb types correct? and i want all the lights to be evenly bright so i want all of them to have the 6000k color temp.. thats legal and that would look okay right? please help! would very much appreciate any suggestions and any recommendation for installing them? thanks in advance!

Re: hello! i'm a newbie

here are what i was thinking of getting. please anyone confirm if this is compatible with my car
for DRL --> XenTec HID conversion kit 9005 6000K Single Beam Xenon (ultra white)
for fog lights --> XenTec HID conversion kit H11/H8/H9 6000K Single Beam Xenon (ultra white)

will it be necessary to replace the high beams too?
what does single beam means? and how will i know?

thanks! thanks!

Re: hello! i'm a newbie

you will have to disable the drl by pulling the fuses out, it will not work with HIDs. single beam is just one bulb, for lo or hi beam (not both). some kits for other cars come with dual beam with two bulbs in one for lo and hi.

i think for 04-05, fogs are h8. but its the same idea h11 will work too. drl/hi beam is 9005, lo beam is 9006.
