Greetings from a newbie in Cleveland

Hi to all,
I just picked up a 1999 Civic Ex 4-dr with 163Kmi. for my kid. It's going to be her basic transportation for a while until she gets out of school and gets up on her own feet. I guess this one is called a 6-th gen.
Looking forward to doing some basic wrenching on it to keep it going for a while.
So I hope there'll be a chance to pick your brains for some advise & in-sight in the near future.
Talk to you soon,
Joe

Re: Greetings from a newbie in Cleveland

Welcome! The first thing is general maintenance on the car. I guess with 163K would be timing belt, water pump, etc that needs to be changed first.
