New Dude From Houston . . .

Dropping in for the initial hazing . . .

I just purchased a stock 7th Gen Coupe about two weeks ago, needs quit a bit of body work.

Nothing to terrible though, I worked for a body shop in the suburbs of south east Houston so it's not that foreign(body work).

Bottomed out the rear OEM shocks on friday, PS was close to gone anyways.

I would post some photos but she's really nothing to special, yet.

"The List"

1. Transmission fluid "change".

2. Replace back shocks. (Tokico Blues?)

Craziness

I did my Tranny fluid change on Friday, it went pretty smooth . .

Had a little trouble breaking the plug lose, but it came free.

Since I bought the car the DS window didn't work, I had them put it in the contract to fix it free of charge.

I took it to them right after I bought it, I needed the car for about a week so I picked it up with the window still not working.

They told me it was the switch, so I decided to take a look myself.
Apparentlly they just ripped off the door panel and left a plug in the door, with a broken piece of the door panel itself.

Upon further inspection they broke the door look tensioner.

I told myself I wasnt going to take it back and just pick the parts up myself and install them.

Well they ordered me a new(read: pick a pull) switch, I installed it and changed out the fuse.

It blew through four fuses with/without the switch connected.

I talked to a buddy of mine who owns a shop and he told me it was an electrical short.

Expensive.

So today I went to pick up my plates and told them what I found.
They agreed to have their electrican fix it and give me a loaner car.

Tomorrow I SHOULD be recieveing a call from them letting me know when I can pick it up.

As of this moment I'm driving a '99Caviler LS POS.
