Replacing h1 bulbs

All of the headlights have stopped working shortly after a wire came loose on the low beam bulb. I have a set of halo projectors.

I have pulled both the high and low beam bulbs and they are both apprently
h1 12v/55w.

I was browsing for new bulbs and the only thing I am confused about is how do I know what to buy for the low and high beam bulbs since theyre the same apparently..

Does it matter which bulbs I buy for a low/high beam? All the ones i have come accross do not state which beam it is for.

I am looking at **** EVO Formance Ultra-White (6000K) Spectras Xenon Headlight Bulb, H1 75W bulbs.

Is it safe to put 75W bulbs when the ones i took out are rated at 55w? and which beam would i attach these to? the high or lows.

ALSO: the halo ring does not seem to light up. the wires are all attached, anyways to fix this?
THanks!

Nope. Doesn't matter. Just as long as they're rated for your electrical system. If you replace one side's high (or low) beam, replace the other side with the same bulb. I'm currently running HID low beams and 2500k (yellow) high beams in my headlights

unless you've upgraded your wiring, you're gonna melt some ****. Stick with 55w bulbs.

Did they work before? Did you test them? Are you sure they're hooked up right? If you've answered "no" to any of these, then you might wanna find out what's wrong. If you didn't test them prior to putting them in, then that sucks. You may have defective halos or shoddy wiring inside the headlight assembly. Test them out to see if they work. If they're LED, then polarity is important. Nothing's gonna light up if you have the leads backwards (since LEDs stand for Light Emitting Diodes, and diodes only allow current flow in one direction only).

If you've indeed tested them, and they do not work, no matter what you do, looks like you may have to open them up (if you're so willing) and figure out what's wrong from there.
