No High Beam

I have an 05 EX Coupe and as I was driving home last night I found out that my high beams don't work. Low beam, park lights and fogs are working just fine. High beam and high beam indicator won't go on by pulling the lever in or pushing it away from me.

I'm not sure where to check first. Is it the fuse, wiring or the bulb itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: No High Beam

The fact that you are not getting the blue high beam indicator when pulling or pushing the stalk is a clue of trouble before the bulbs.

I will check into the wiring for you for fuses to check (currently at work and no info at hand)

Any warranty left by chance ??

Re: No High Beam

Each light has its own fuse and relay. The fuses to check would be fuse 15 and 17 (both 20 amp)

The RED/BLU is the lead at the combination switch that is grounded to light high beams. (column covers can be tough to remove easily)

Re: No High Beam

Thanks! I really hope it's just the fuse (easier to replace). I'll check it out tomorrow and update. Thanks again!

Re: No High Beam

So I checked the fuses and they were both still good. Decided to replace them anyway and got an interesting result. Once I've replaced both fuses, I went to check out if the high beam was back on. I turned on the headlights and and pushed the lever forward - no high beam/indicator, pulled the lever back - high beam indicator was ON for a sec then off again. Checked the fuses again and they were still good. Tried replacing both fuses again, but still no joy.

What could the problem be?
