JDM Rear Fog Light.... well i was looking a site and seen some rear fog lights, does anyone here know of if that should fit our car? i havent seen it before on our cars and i wondered if it would look good. or be useful. so any input would help...thanks!

Rep Power: 294 There are cars here that have the rear fog light (my dad's MB SLK for example), so I doubt it's illegal. I'm sure if it was a huge rear fog light the cops would have problems with it, but most rear fogs are small in comparison with the regular brake lights.

To have that bumper with the light over in US would probably be illegal. Hince....thats why they dont come with it. Im sure the mini cooper and the SLK are but a few exceptions to this rule because the company aquired a liscense to use it. Which to my knowledge neither one of the lights is very big, correct?

Many if not all Volvos and Audis have their left taillight activate as this fog light. I've seen S80's, my old S60 had it, Audi A6's as well as the old and new A4. I'm fairly certain I've seen more than a few Benz's with it as well as Saab and Range Rover.
It's not illegal here, it's just not required by our government to have a rear signal so cars behind us in the fog can see us. I sincerely doubt that such a safety precaution - although not required - would be against the law.

But it is illegal not to have one in Europe, or at least in Belgium and surrounding...
And yes, everything about cars is much more expensive here than elsewhere!
