Hid Bulb Question

if i have an hid kit from one company, can i use another companies bulbs? for instance, can i urchase some of ignited's bulbs? they look like they have the same connections?

some bulbs like D1 bulbs have an igniter on the bottom of the bulb. Others like D2 type bulbs do not and need one.

Unless your ballast is the newer type ones which have igniters in them already.

Other than that the connections (sockets and terminals) need to mate with each other and you're good.

Most HID bulbs are nothing more than a positive and negative connection.
If you have a crimper tool, you can make anything work together.

most kit bulb connectors are cross compatable...if u buy mcculloch bulbs it will usually work on other kits like techone

depends on the bulb and how the connector is...

most of the aftermarket kits are all universal
