i messed up my tyc

i took off the projector lens to clean it, well its not even dirty. what makes it cloudy? the lens looks perfect. well in doing this, i completely screwed the rotational alignment. and my car is in pieces and no white wall in sight yay!

and somehow my filament in the silverstar bulb fell off! man this sucks!

um no lol too poor. oh guess what else, my sylvania amber 3457 has a big chunk peeled out of it. and the socket and reflector is all burnt. Hmm guess drl isnt that good for it haha. i got some GE bulb thats hopefully gonna be better.

hey you got any suggestion for the 194 parking light? i was thinkin of leaving it off, and just have the amber signal. or maybe putting amber bulb instead of clear. idk. but sometime later im painting the inside of my projector fogs yellow and using nokya bulb so its gonna look sweet when its done.

Painting it yellow? Thats a bit weird.. Any particualr reason? ..

Only thing I can think of is the reflection of bright white bulbs would be more yellow glared so visibility may be improved.

Or is this a show thing?

yellow fog lights are weird? don't go to europe then lol. its the best light for drivers to see at night. Also here is what i did so far with my headlight if you're wondering. I still need to rotation aim and stuff it back in. I also beefed up the wire harness since it uses tiny parking light wires compared to my factory replacement.

this is just for show, but i dont know how much dimmer the light will be. there is tons of space between the lenses and outside, so i still need amber bulb.

I used some amber 3457 in the turn signal so it remains amber...
And yes, yellow fog like is extremely nice. I am trying to make my X1010 to be yellow...

well the amber turn lens is great, i can use clear 3457 bulb and not worry about the amber bulb peeling. yes both my bulb had a big hole in the amber coat. it looks a bit on the yellow/amber side, so im wiring the markers to come on with park lights since they match better. painting my projector fogs yellow as i type now... im not using the parking light, and i also added bigger wire to the tyc harness to match the one i have on the car. also painted projector fog reflector yellow.

the problem now is the headlight projector is aimed wrong or something, cause one side has a ton of color and the other has almost nothing... anyway here are more pics.. all done. member ride pics coming tonight hopefully.

Nice deco....lol

I think the adjuster has a metal clip on the inside so that the screw will just turning forever.....Look at your headlight housing.....

So what headlight you are using now? I think I can sell my retro'd TYC after I get my TL projector working....

no i just kept turning and eventually the screw came off the projector. its just black clips that it goes through (plastic). there is a lil clip or tube clamp but that just pulls off. the hi beams can just be pried out of those white holders. i already sold my black inserts and lenses, and threw the back piece away. the projectors were junk anyway. as soon as you take the lens piece off, they are ruined. im really missing my old H4 catz hid kit, that thing was great but i know it would've had problems later if something broke or got messed up. mechanics are terrible. i actually caught some stupid kid turning mine on and off when driving my car away at the dealer. i came out and was like wtf are you doing you idiot.

i am really thinking about having someone do a retro in these stocks...

i have stock blackouts without reflector. kept amber part chrome too.

No, I am talking about removing the adjusting screw from the housing, not remove the projector from the adjusting screw (as I removed 2 pairs of projectors from the screws already)....
