you can't do anything with just a lens. you have to buy a complete projector unit to even start thinking about retrofitting

yeah that is a little high. Thats about the same price as tsx projectors. The reflector bowl also has a effect on the intensity and beam. It'll probably be easier if you just replace the whole projector though.

you can't really use your aftermarket hid in a "good" lens. you gotta get the bulb type that go with it as far as i know.

Ok a) is do-able if you have any type of motor skills and a drill, so lets ignore that one.

b) is my concern, what glare are you guys talking about ... and also are you guys over-reacting. Like for instance, I know many people on the site that say lowering their car causes them to have horrible creaking and popping - and it's just not worth it.

But my cars lowered and my drop doesn't pop or creak at all.

So I'm wondering if this glare thing is just a "hypocondriac" reaction to HID conversion kits. I mean, is it really something horrible - that makes your car undrivable OR is it simply just a personal preference blown up to massive proportions?

*********************

I mean really what I am concerned about is getting more light than my stock halogens. HID's I know are going to be a hell of a lot brighter - even with a conversion kit and TYC's instead of a full out retrofit.

So is this glare really for the people looking at the car ? Or is this glare really going to effect my visibility at night ?

Also, for dark spot in front of my car - I have a set of OEM fog lights to put on this spring too, so that dark spot shouldn't be a factor.

Anyone with comments ?
Look at what i made in RED hhmmmmmmm.. lol good **** though man

You can't just swap out a lens and call it a retro fit. You have to replace the entire projector housing because you can't fit any other bulb into a TYC projector other then an H1 bulb.
