I've got to get this done tomorrow morning...please help, otherwise I'm going in with a flathead screwdriver to pry them off....If you want 1000 points or whatever for the first correct answer I will facilitate...I have an '05 Coupe....please be specific with your instructions!

its all the same piece. there is a tab in the middle of one side. just stick in a small flathead screwdriver and pry it off. then it pops back on just make sure you put the tabs in first.

Right you are about the tabs, but on my 05 LX SE coupe, the dome light is separate from the map lights. My map lights are right above the rear-view mirror and my dome light is in the middle of the ceiling of the car. Thanks for your help, though!

Don't just pry anywhere on the map lights off you'll break the tabs.

Ok to take the map lights off, easiest thing to do is push and HOLD the map light on or off (you know how you push the outside of the actual light to turn them on/off). When you push and hold it, the opposite end (the inside of the maplight), you will see a gap, use a knife or flat head screw driver wedge it in the gap and pop it out. That's it.

EDIT: here's my ghetto diagram
