headlight bulbs

Welp this might get kicked outa the general forum and i have tried to seach but it hasnt been workin for me, anyway might just be the upgrade happening,,,on to my dang story now haha, So i bought some headlight bulbs for the ol' civi today, just want some opinions on these bulbs, theyre 7000k artic whites they have a blue tint to them but i think i like them, anyway are these a good thing to have or will they screw anything up and if they will what should i go to next?

Are these a good thing to have?
No, they are probably dimmer than your stock lights.
They are only good for looks but does nothing to help you out at night.

I suggest...
...put your stock lights back on.
...buy some road legal "blue" lights like Sylvania Silverstars if you want a white light.
...HID retrofit.

As long as they aren't dimmer than your stock bulbs at night, then you should be okay.

If the bulb is in the 100s watt range for low and high beam, then it may overheat and melt your wires.

100w worked for me....the 7000k is just the color it doesnt mean squat for non hid though>
i use mtec 55w yellow ion bulbs the are dope and didnt lose any light output...
acctually gained some visibility over stock

Most of the time those 7000K bulbs are dimmer than the regular one. Visibility is horrible especially if you're driving at night & raining.

just get the $20 4300k bulbs. Anything higher then that your not going to be able to see crap.
