9006 bulbs!

I am looking to get some aftermarket bulbs that fit an 2005 Civic. But honda just made life bad...by discontinuing the H4 size and changing it to the 9005/9006. I was wanting some OSRAM silverstars, but since they are european, 9006 bulbs are not made.

Is there any bulbs out there that someone can recomend that are good bubls for the 9006 size. I am looking for a white light.. that means no blue tint. I got some Sylivana Silverstars in the 04 accord, but i want something European, since the EDM's have a better dispersing patter than DOT rated lights. I was looking at the Osram Silverstars and Philips vison plus 50% but they carry no 9006.

note. i am not intrested in HIDs.

TIA

i used sylvania silverstars for 9006 and in two months one of them blew out on me...i went back to autozone for an exchange got a new one than used it for a week before it blew out on the opposite side...it wasnt that he filament was burning too hot the connections on the filament were too weak and were breaking on me before i could get any practical use out of them...yes they were bright and looked sorta like hid's but they arent as bright as my current nokya hyper yellow 2500k bulbs...the nokyas arent as bright as a beam but the yellow light travels further distances...i love the yellows and they havent blown out or shown any sign of going out so im stickin with yellow before i go to HID

weird kids and breaking their silverstars. i've had silverstars on the civic for over a year and then i upgraded to HID. then i sold that pair of silverstars to a friend of mine with a solara and he broke them somehow within 2 months.

now i have silverstar sealed beams in my '92 miata and those are going strong for 3+ months.

On my dad's 04 accord, i installed some silverstars in them still running strong.. almost a year too.

But i want to try something different then silverstars. Are Philips visionplus white or are they like normal headlight colour, but brighter?

i have to say the silverstars were nice while i had them but for me they were just too unreliable...i've heard people having no problems with them its just i guess their 9006 silverstars just dont last compared to sealed beams and H4s

how do these compare with the bluevision blub? Since gearbox said that crystalvision is the replacement for the blue vision, are they them same? Powerbulbs is selling the blue vision and they have the 9006 size. Also since powerblubs are european, perhasp they have the e-code type blub which makes a better dispersing pattern than the north american ones.
