i say just do a retrofit. Judging from your sig, you seem to have pretty good knowledge of fabrication work. It should be a pretty easy job for you. All you have to do is pay a little extra for the projectors. Just buy the oem stuff.
you can go here. I've been there in the past, the sites pretty good at screening out scammers. I just need my ballasts now, to finish my retro project.

IMO, after doing lots of research, your gonna get the best performance light-output from a retrofit. If not then you will really spend about the same in a catz hid kit which is better quality.

its not that i couldnt do the fab work its just i wanted a provider for cheap parts and HID kits...i can see Xenith is out new provider so im prolly gonna go with one of his kits with valeos or s2k projectors when i do a retro...hopefully the s2k ones will fit if not im gonna stick to valeos since i've heard that TSX/TL projector lenses are too big

i would just go with the oem stuff. The aftermarket ballasts tend to break down after awhile. the s2k projectors and tsx projectors are about the same size. Valeos or single bosch projectors are probably the smallest.

icic...valeos probably than...but i hear that the projector lenses that come in the TYC headlights for the 01-03 are actually good for doing HID retros or is it just the housing that is good...i would go oem but those are just so expensive i mean its like 250 per ballast without bulbs...i rather go with those that xenith sells or purevisions phillips ballasts

There good for the housing. I would still put in real oem hid projectors. There $270 for the pair on Hidplanet. and about 165-200 used on there forums. OEM > aftermarket. Better to spend a few bucks more rather then wait till they break and buy the oems ones later.
