what u guys arent thinking is... how long do u actually stay in reverse?
bulbs/ballasts are gonna wear out within a month or so (depending how many times u go in reverse)

ya its dumb. And actually they sell halogen reverse lights for some bulb types if you want bright. I think even thats going too far cause you maybe reverse for a few secs anyway.
also, I noticed when you put an automatic car into D the reverse lights flash for a quick half second. I suppose that would make the HID's flash.
besides that, its just cool. Someone did it because nobody else did. But if you have 5% tints in the rear and HID's save you from backing into a pole in a dark parking lot I suppose there worth the $200
