Is there a DIY for side-marker repeaters?

You know the little blinkers than German cars have on their quarter panels...

Yes there is but you'll have to weed through all of the other stuff on the site and search for it! Gearbox put side markers on his car and used the DIY on the site! Ask him! He might know where to find the DIY link! BTW I searched for it myself and couldnt find the results i wanted! Good Luck!

I checked around and got enough info on how to cut the template and hole, but what about access to begin with?

Where is the access to the rear of the sheet metal to wire them? Will I have to jack up the car and remove the front wheels?

I don't think you searched enough. Our site DIY for sidemarkers has a pic where you see the front wheels taken off.

no taking wheels off. That's silly. Just unclip the fender plastic and stick your hand in. You don't even need to get back there except for wiring. I did a diy too based on what the first one said in diy section.
