I just bought projector headlights, and have heard that they fog up often. What is best to use to reseal the lights, or just go over the original seal?

hrmm as we are on the topic of sealing. someone who did do this lives near me and told me to use those gasket sealant stuff just wondering if that would work too?

that will work too, but i'm thinking that the RTV silicone is super thick and will harden into a cement...

clear... and if u ever have to open your headlights again, you dont need to pop them into the oven. You can just pull and it will come off

you can do it either way. i would recommend opening them up, but for the lazy people, just going over the seam is fine too

open them, take the crap glue that they used and take it out, and replace it with silicone.

And when you put the cover back on it pushes the silicone out (letting u use some silicone for the seam), so you are basically doing both at the same time.
