which H4 bulb is right for me hmmm...
first off before anyone says anything I KNOW STOCK BULBS ARE BETTER THAN TINTED BLUE AFTERMARKET ONES thank you.
ok, it happened again. another shitty h4 bulb went out on me (nokya arctic white) and personally im getting sick and tired of all the aftermarket bulbs i buy going out so now im looking for the best. ive used piaa, ichibahn, nokya, and a couple others and im still looking for a nice white bulb thatll last for awhile. ive heard members say good things about mtecs so i was considering trying those out. i was wondering if anyone has used polarg bulbs before? i was checking out different ones and came across these..

has anyone used these? true, they are priced high but hey, if they last awhile then its worth the cash.
also i was checking out plasmaglow bulbs. good thing about those is they come with a 10 year warranty. check it out.

if anyone has any suggestions besides telling me to get hids or go back to stock then feel free. thanks.

I've seen the Polarg bulbs at Super Autobacs.
They have demo cases with a bulb and switch so you can turn it on and see.
All of the Polargs look nice...but honestly all colored bulbs seem the same to me.
Only impressive one was the Polarg yellow...had a nice yellow without being too much amber.
If you refuse to go HID then I say get those wiring enhancers that let you handle more wattage and buy mtec 4x or someo ther high wattage bulb.

i mean, im not REFUSING to buy hid, its just i dont need it. id rather just buy a good pair of long lasting white bulbs. the problem is i cant seem to find a good pair, but i know theres gotta be one. how much work is required in installing hids anyway?

You need REAL bulbs from Europe that are BETTER than stock and still look nice.
Take your pic, but the osram bulbs are really good quality and not to be confused with the crappy sylvania line in the states. Osram cool blue will give you that white color you're looking for.If you want more light on the road, osram silverstar or philips vision plus are great and light up the road more than stock.

Before I bought my HIDs I had VESTEC light bulbs; HID-X model to be exact.
Vestec is made by Cibie, the off-road lighting company.
The HID-X model (4,200K) had the whitest light I've seen.
Of course brightness is another story since they aren't HIDs, but the color was amazingly close to what HIDs might look like.

I'm not sure if there are dealers in the USA but you can try.
I bought mine in Japan btw.

I heard good things about IPF bulbs... I wanted to try them, but they're a little expensive... I was like you and I tried all kinds of different bulbs... With the money I've spent in the past 3 years, I could've gotten a nice set of HIDs... So I ended up buying HIDs, and I'm never switching back! HIDs should last you a long long time!
But for the best halogen bulb I've used I say is the PIAA Extreme White bulbs... Lasted me around 9 months, and since they have a 1 year warranty I just went back to the shop I bought it from and got a new set...

i recommend plasmaglow h4. im using them now and im very very happy with them. great light output, very bright, suck in the wet, great in snow, passed for h.i.d. few times! last for a long time. my first set lasted 9 months, second set lasted about 8 months. im using one bulb from first set and one from second set. have been going strong for 2 months. i think they make one defective on purpose so you can buy more, those bastards lol. anyway, mine is a lease but if it was mine, id invest in h.i.d. if your getting bulbs, trust me, you will be very happy with plasmaglow!
