Xtec HID fuse?

I relocated my HID ballasts behind my bumper today and noticed the fuse (circled in red) missing in one of them. the HID's still light up fine but will this shorten the life of the bulb? Do i need to replace it?

wonderz is on a distinguished road
well, you can always wire the hid with a relay, depends on how u wire it, the stock headlight fuses will also act as an extra surge protection.
either way, i don't think its a big deal if you cannot find the replace fuse.

Its a vent not a fuse, cover it with tape if you cannot find the peice.

The xtec ballast is the only water proof ballast out there

What about this one? There's a vid of it submerged in water... Is this a knockoff of Xtec?
