HIR bulbs vs HID & halogen

FYI guys who wants to know alil bit more about lightning and who are tryin to decide between HID and some SuperduperXenon bulbs. I would recommend is to look for HIR bulbs.they are much better than HID for halogen lamps.

The d2s is original HID bulb for HID projectors, d2r is original HID bulb for halogen lamps. All aftermarket HID kits use rebased d2s bulbs made for specific lamps:h1, h11, h3, h4, 9006 etc.Sometimes the quality of those rebased bulbs is questionable.

On the other hand the HIR bulb produces 2300 lum on low and 2700 on hi beams; the d2s is 3200 lum., the halogen bulb is 1800 lum.
The HIR bulbs are available only 9005/6 and h3 application.

hmm no 9006 available? I'd take 9006 and 9005 based on the pics. I wonder how long these last?

What about cosmic bulbs? They're supposed to be as bright as the sun.

he was referring the Toshiba bulbs. They are the newest bulbs right now, cuz GE sold a patent in 199...to japanese companies, especially IPF and Nissie making those bulbs. They are a real brightes bulbs out there. They will last for years. They do only 9006, 9006 and h3 types. All of those bulbs are real from Japan.Average price is 150-250/pair.
By the way you aint right about HID.They are the best right now for halogen housing, cuz you`ll have the same output I guarantee.

and for ebay bulbs I can give you some interesting info:Check it before you buy them:

They won't work better. It says color temp 3800k, which is whiter than stock 3200k. Your eyes see better at night and in rain with stock bulbs. I have 4300k hid and can't see at all in bad weather.

".. have 4300k hid and can't see at all in bad weather.." thats not really true, I have almost the same setups (4100K on halogen and HID projectors) and they work just great.Just add some fog lights it will improve your driving alot.

Okay well I guess it's me then. I have hid and they don't light up the road at all in rain. Fogs don't help because they're below my field of vision.
