Projectors and high beams
Alright, this question was asked once before but never got a solid answer. So here's the question again:
How do I continuously feed power to my projectors when using high beams with TYCs?
Reason I ask this is because I may be doing a retrofit in the future, or just buying a HID kit from impulse and I don't want my low beams shutting off when I use my high beams. I heard you have to use a relay, but no specifics were given...
TIA

When I did my retrofit I had to sodder wires together... Blue = Low beam, Red = High beam
Im not 100% sure how to sodder everything together with halogen bulbs... But, If you were to use a kit or a retrofit it would be easy.

when you solder the wires together.. then doesn't all the beam turn on all the time even in low beam?
the easiest would be to get a high current diode and point the current going from high beam positive wire t o low beam positive wire. (note, the diodes sold in radio shack would not work for HID, but its enough for halogen)
another you can do it is thru relay.. not sure what instruction u need.. just read the wiring diagram on the back of the relay package. should be sufficient for you to wire it.
