HYPER WHITE bulbs
hey, i'm pretty new at this forum and i started modding my civic '02 recently. i got a TSW rims, and bought some hyper white light bulbs from a shop. but a question. are those hyper white bulbs illegal on the streets? cause on the side of the box of that, it said not to use these bulbs on local streets or on the highway, only offroad purposes. would a cop pull me over cause of that?

If the bulbs are tinted blue (when not lit up) then they're technically illegal, and the cops can bust you down. And considering the crackdowns on "street racing" (read: CAR ENTHUSIASTS) the cops would likely pull you over if you have lights that aren't stock yellowish-white.

Yeah 99% of hyper white bulbs are illegal. They will only give you a hard time if they have a blueish tint when they are on though.

Rep Power: 812 Most hyper whites aren't even that good unless you get raybrig or polarg, and that's gonna cost $$. They are illegal anyways, because the light output from the bulbs are less than stock. I can barely see the turn signal during the day on cars that have these.
