so h.i.d. is not for me. at the races we get fooked over by cops like nothing, so pretty much no H.I.D. for mehhh. i might end up getting some hid fog lights at 5400k or 6400k.

I had EuroDezigns before my car decided to blow out the low beams one night. I think they were 6000K for like $15 shipped...eBay baby. They were bright and had a real nice blue tint....and they were only $15!!

You are contradicting yourself there.
You want best looking? Stick with the Silverstars or other blue bulbs that shine white.
You want brightest? Stick with normal untinted stock bulbs.

Without factoring in wattage boosters (which only shorten bulb life), theres nothing much you can really do. You could get high wattage bulbs + wiring harness upgrade, but wouldn't rather spend a little bit more for HIDs?

Sorry to say but only HID will get both best looking and brightest.

The best halogen bulbs that are going to be the brightest are the Osram Silverstars, There is a difference between those and the Sylvania Silverstars, they are esentially the same company, but Osram is what they call them in germany. They have the same properties as the USA ones, but dont have any tint on the bulb. I have used these and they are by far the best. Any other halogen bulb will not be as bright. Period.
