Clearing 04 headlights
alright so im planning on doing this, any advice would be appreciated.
what do i need to do this, should i replace the amber bulbs? and what bulbs should i get? i read in another thread that the reflector piece has to be painted, what kind of paint should i get?

well make sure you get High Temp paint....and if your going for the whole clear look then go ahead and replace them....and be careful when putting them in the oven( i wouldn't do it personally) because you might come out with Blacked out headlights instead
but yea....you can try prying them apart with a screw driver instead. Joined: May 2003

yea but you don't neccessarily have to heat it up really....you could also use a blow dryer to. But really all you need is elbow grease and a screw driver....kinda digging at it cutting it away.

what kind of silicone should i get, theres about 20 different kinds- i was thinking the one for house windows? transperent or white?
and for the paint, aluminum colour that can be used for engine?
