headlight wattage

sorry for asking a question that has been asked over and over and over... but i just wanna know if u get a bulb that is higher watts den 60/55w will it damage anything ?

Yes, it will cause damage. Maybe not right away but, yea, it will.

I know a few people running 90's and the light housings either melted a bit or turned from chrome to a burnt color.

I was about to get one of those "MTEC" headlights for my 2k1 EX civic coupe.
Would those bulbs melt something????????????

Those are 60/55W bulbs that just emulate 130/110W. You'll be perfectly fine. I used to have some MTECs for awhile before the driver side died. They're good bulbs.

yo, have you guys ever heard of StreetGlow xenon H4??

i asked them about it.....their H4, which is available now is 100/80 (if im not wrong).....they got DH4, which is 60/55....however, they don't have it.....they don't even know the ETA to get em on stock...

i saw a car using them....it's really nice! white and blueish...i wonder if MTEC2x will have the same color..

they're available in ebay for $7 + $7 shipping + $3 insurance...(MTEC 2x H4)
