wiring fogs to headlights....

wiring fogs to headlights....
what all do i need?? do i just gotta take the wire and run it to the headight wire and tie it together and im done or do i gotta ahve other things so i dont blow a fuse or somethin...sorry...i know nothing bout wiring....
