H1 bulbs to H3 bulbs?
H1 bulbs to H3 bulbs?
I have had a set of angel eye projector headlights installed on my car for a few weeks now. I realized a little while ago that the socket that is attached to the headlight casing will only allow an H1 to fit in... I need to have an H3 there. I want to put it in the socket closest towards the middle of the car, not the projector, so that it will be on with the projector(low beam) as well, rather than just turning on when i activate the brights and not lighting up at all when the brights are off. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the metal socket to intall onto my headlight unit? The socket part that I am talking about is the actual metal piece that you slide the bulb through, the part with the hole and clip.
because an H1 bulb is a single filament bulb... an H3 bulb is a dual filament bulb... with the H1's it only illuminates when the high beams are activated using the switch on the steering column... i want them to be illuminated when i have my lows on, and have the other filament so that it will illuminate on brights as well... so instead of having one low and one high beam... i want two low and one high beam... not a hard concept... just wondering if anyone could help me out with it... if you don't have any suggestions other than "use what they gave you"... don't post... don't mean to be rude about it... but i was asking for some assisstance, not to be shot down... either way i'm going to have H3's in there... whether i have to drill it out or if i can find an H3 adaptor socket... they are going in
