Post Headlight upgrade for a noob

Hey all, let me first preface this by saying a couple of things, I am not a car expert, I don't mind being talked to like a 3rd grader, I am not familiar with different brands and parts, I simply know the little that I do and am trying to learn more.

That all said, it sounds like the mtech lights are a lot of your choices for upgrade bulbs. what i don't get is, can you just install them into a stock housing, do you need tycs(what is that, abbreviation or brand).

Do me one other favor, don't respond with the classic line, "just search the site and find it". that's obvious, but as you can see I don't make that many posts, just when i am trying to learn something new.

for just bulbs you won't need to get projectors or anything. make sure the bulbs are 55/60W power and you won't be melting anything either
