What are the wattage on TYC headlights?

Hey could anyone help me with the wattage of the H1 bulbs in TYC elegante headlights? They're pretty bright but I'm thinking about upgrading them, just making sure it's going to be a useful upgrade.

Thanks,
Thomas.

Sylvania says they are around 65W max. I think most bulbs are around the same wattage to make them bright enough to be legal.

So are the bulbs rated at 65w? I'm looking at PIAA's with 55w but they are rated at 110w and they are 4000k... Would this smart upgrade from the TYC's, also do you know the Kelvins of the TYC?

Thanks,
Thomas.

Yeah, stay with low wattage. Those piaas are I think 55w, but the light output is like 110w. It's a trick. You want ACTUAL 55w. And piaas are expensive and burn out in a few months.

yah, but I've had PIAA in all my headlights and loved em, no problems, PLUS they are the only bulb w/ lifetime warranty so if/when thet go out they're replaced for free. PLUS I live out in the country and need bright headlights.
