Is it possible that if i found a totaled car at a salvage yard that had HID's in it, to take them out and use them in my civic?? Cars suchs as a s2000 or Mercedes BMW etc.?? could i take those out and use them instead of spending 400 bucks for a new set of aftermarket hids?

it would most likely work if you retrofic your current projectors, just take the headlight too and make sure you get your lense for better effect of the HID

oh ya i have black tyc projectors as well. and if i had to retrofit them, how would i do that?

I read that retrofitting is tedious work. But there are a few threads in here talking about a diy. But I dunnno if it has been done.

By the way, I was thinking of doing the same, but getting someone else to retrofit them for me. How much are you buying the headlights for with oem HID kit and projector lenses?

How much would you charge if you were to do it for someone else fellas? I mean, if you bought a set of audi or bmw projector HID units with projector housings for a customer and installed them in some TYCs. How much would you charge? I have TYCs right now. Thinking of retrofit.

i personally wont risk my backyard fabrication on anyone elses stuff
