Question projection headlight problem

I bought some projection headlights from mytightride.com i didn't look the box over to see what band they are it says Gen 3 on the box i believe anyway this is more of a in general question, one morning i go out to my car and the entire passenger side assembly is all frosted over just as bad as my windshield, then 2 days later the bulb is out so im going to put in either APC Super White Plasma H4s or Silverstars, my question is, what killed the bulb? could it have been defective? and also, what should I do about the moisture? It was suggested to drill small holes in the bottom of it, is that a good idea? or is there a way to seal the entire assembly, if there is, which is a better way to go?

ummm, first look at the bulb that was burnt out... And see what type of bulb it is... Projectors take either H1 or H3, def not H4.

If your projectors are fogging up then you can take a hairdryer and get all the moisture inside of it out, then take some water proof silicone and smooth it around the sealed part of the projectors... This will make sure they are fully sealed... No matter what moisture will get in but, most of the time gets out.

I will write it over n over, TYC Projectors are the only ones that I would use. They are the highest in quality.

If you need anymore help PM me, or IM me xL0wRydeRx

yea that sux, if i had to do it over again i'd buy the TYCs, but the ones on mytightride.com had halos and i was like badass but i guess overall this was looks over quality, but who knows i'll just see wut happens with these if its terrible i'll end up putting the stock assemblies back and maybe buying the TYCs later on.. or just staying w/stock if i end up putting em back in.

i had projector halo's from matrixracing.com and had a billion problems with them. I had the right bulbs in but they kept burning out...actually my brights never really worked at all. lol. It sucked so i took them out and have my stock ones back in now.

I had tiny holes drilled into my projectors when i had them...it definitely helped with them fogging up
