anybody have any idea where i can get some oem 2004 civic Lx 2 door fog lights, i have been looking on ebay and a couple of other places, i just dont feel like paying over 300 bucks at the dealership

the problem with the OEM's is that A.)like you said, theyre insanely expensive, and B.) they break/shatter really easily. the ones on ebay are OEM STYLE, theyre not really OEM. But the thing is, if they break you wont have to shell out another $300 for foglights since no dealer, as far as i know, will sell each foglight seperately. Just go with something aftermarket with a similar style, or if you do go OEM, theyre are these clear, thin peices of plastic, almost like thick tape, that you can cut to fit the lens and it serves to protect the glass. i know they make them already-cut for some cars, but i know you can buy sheets of it and cut it to fit. I should have done this, now i have to buy new fogs since a rock to its life.

It says "02-04"...
The 01-03 civics use the same lights.
The 04 is different and the 01-03 lights won't work.
There is also a problem with the switch that comes with some kits. There is one switch made for the 01, which had no cup holder cover. The models with cup holder covers use a different switch, because it's a different size.

Any auction that says it fits 01-04 is probably lying and don't know anything about the 7th gen civics. It wouldn't be the first time a vendor misrepresents what models that their product fits.

I didn't see any for the '04 on ebay either.
