OEM Style Fog Lights
OEM Style Fog Lights
Does any one have any information where I can get a OEM set of Fog lights for my 2004 honda civic lx sedan, I have been looking at places and havent seen any one who has a factory replacement fog style lamp and after checking with the dealer and them telling me they were 500.00 dollars installed I wanted to find if someone carried a aftermarket style fog light for the civics, I hate to get ripped off by the factory since they make a lot on the accy,s thanks,
www.procarparts.com i believe they sell them. also check on ebay.

500.00 bucks.
Seriously. Check ebay, or also http://www.handaccessories.com/civext01.html
That is where I got mine for my 01. they had a sale and picked them up. I dont think the install is too hard, but I had the shop that put in my remote start do mine, 70 bucks and I was happy. Dont buy crap from the dealer.

Good luck finding them so soon after the body style has been changed. Manu's are still producing new parts for previous 7thgen's and you're expecting parts for '04 already? Com'on man.

Procarparts doesn't carry 2004 fog lights yet.
Tornactive/Robear doesn't carry 2004 fog lights yet.
I didn't see any for the '04 on ebay either.
H And A Accessories has them for $254.40
I havent seen anything on ebay for the 2004 civics , the only place I have heard of or found that have the fog lights for the 2004 civic is www.handaaccessories.com

The 01-03 civics use the same lights.
The 04 is different and the 01-03 lights won't work.
There is also a problem with the switch that comes with some kits. There is one switch made for the 01, which had no cup holder cover. The models with cup holder covers use a different switch, because it's a different size.
Any auction that says it fits 01-04 is probably lying and don't know anything about the 7th gen civics. It wouldn't be the first time a vendor misrepresents what models that their product fits.
$254.40 for freakin fog lights? thats a waste of money. for that much money you could put it towards something else or even buy a real HID kit. go buy some aftermarket PIAA fog lights, they're better anyways. dont blow that much moeny on fog lights that really barely make a difference in lighting, but whatever, its your dough not mine.

If you paid $299 in 2000, that's your decision. Just because you weren't a smart shopper doesn't mean everyone else has to follow suit. It's stupid to pay too much when you don't have to...deal with it.

i agree w/you bellz- but i think some people just HAVE to have the oem stuff, or just HAVE to have the most expensive stuff. im not bashing on you boosted, im just saying. you might not even be like that. im sure the oem lights are better, but the oem style dont suck, at least from what ive heard.
but yea- i like getting stuff at good prices, as long as its good quality. it doesnt have to be the best out there... just good

yeah..exactly. In the case of the 2004's, there's no replicas yet that I know of. So if you want oem style, you gotta get oem lights. Too bad for the 2004 owners. They can pay too much or wait for some aftermarket to catch up.
