Fog Lights
Hi all, I am looking for the Fog light template for cutting front bumper.
Want to make sure I cut if correctly. The ones I have are LHF-HCV01
model and on the box is says made by TIOO motorsports. I was reading
the DIY on installing oem type but mine seem to be a little different. Mine
look the same execpt have 3 wire groups instead of 2 that was talked about
in the DIY tread.
Thanks for any help......

I just got the same kit and was looking for the factory install instructions (pdf file). Please let me know what you find out and any tips you find when you install your set.
If you have a digital camera take a few pictures during the install.

jkeating, here's some links for you:
The first is my DIY article from my site on installing the oem replica lights.
The second is the instructions that came with my lights, also linked in the DIY.
The third is the installation instructions for the oem fogs from Honda.

I'll need a better pic to see how 1 and 2 connect. I only had two harnesses, so this is a little confusing.
I just took a look at the 3 harnesses and this is what I think needs to happen.
Harness 1 goes from the left light to the right light, it has two ground points and a connector that joins the two power leads into one connector.
Harness 2 goes from harness number 1 with a single wire through the fire wall.
You can see that this one has a grommet that should seal the hole that you enlarge in an existing grommet going through the fire wall.
This is so we don't have to drill a new hole through the metal.
There is a single brown connector with a blue wire on the engine side and a gray single connector with the same blue wire on the inside. It is my guess that this is a spare wire and not used. I would think that it is for providing power to some other accessory. This way we would not need to run an additional wire through the fire wall. This is just speculation on my part but I check the blue wire with a ohm meter and it is just a short piece of wire with 2 different connectors on it.
Harness 3 connects to the fire wall harness with the brown connector and the blue/red wire. It appears that the other end of this harness provides power from the fuse box. The white/red plugs into a hot lead on the fuse block and the red/black must plug into a spot that sees if the key is on or off.

Was just reading your posts and was wondering something.
Plug in everything as per the above post without mounting
them into car yet, just to test them. Make sure the 2 or 3
grounding lugs are grounded and plug the wire that goes
into fuse block and give them a try. That would let us know
if everything is going to work connected that way. One other
thing, 1 wire connected to fuse block or 2?......

harness through firewall, That was a pain.
Thanks to BELLZ and JKEATING for all there help.
Samlk
P.S. Anyone know where to buy H11 amber or
Ion yellow bulbs at, I already found many site
that sell that type of bulb but not in the H11 size.

I just purchased the oem honda push button for the fog lights that I want to use to power my angel eyes, problem is, the back of this switch has 6 pins on the back I have no idea which one is which. Since all of you are on the topic does anyone know? also there are dial on it is that to change the brightness of the fog lights. any info will help thanks
The wiring of the switch is in the http://www.sceniccityonline.com/pdf/civicoemfogs.pdf
listed above. The switch with the aftermarket lights looks the same except it has 5 pins and only one relay.

Yes thats going to be a problem. The new housings that the
fog lights are in use that area to press up against. It keeps
them from just pushing on through bumper. You will have to
think of something to maybe glue into that place to prevent
pushing through. Good luck.
I was really worried about that myself but it turned out ok..
Let us know what you come up with for a fix...
