it's lights, yet.. the stuff that lets you see at night, the same stuff that lets you read what the monitor is saying, light
there are some of us who drives at night, OFTEN, and it's much safer for us, to have better light output that that 2300 lumiens
at least we got the real thing, and not the 1200 lumiens blue *****

Rep Power: 0 Voiceofid: Proceed with the retrofit man,I wanna see the result and pls take pics every step of the way so u can make this a DIY. I reckon with your Xenondepot's HID kit, the igniter is built-in with the ballast? Did u just buy a pair or D2S bulbs for use with your retrofit? What happen with my kit, which comes with separate igniter?

people who don't have hids don't understand, once you get hid, the regular halogens look like a little glow stick on the ground compare to it. maybe you need glasses and contacts for thinking regular halogens lights up the night just fine
and if it isn't a big deal, the automotive industry won't be converting to hid slowly

Rep Power: 0 Hey Voice I got the same result, totally know what you are saying, ppl who do HID with TYC will understand..... so far it looks nice and all but can't compare to stock HID cars like BMW's and so on. Currently way too lazy to do a retrofit..... good luck with yours

so i went to hidtech and ordered a set of h7 valero projectors with a d2 adapter plate, should be here today or tomorrow. retrofit will start over the weekend, and hopefully be done by middle of next week or next weekend.
they are the same as impulse's projectors, but i believe i might be using different bulbs and also different ballast(splicing xenondepot.com's ballast
