Rep Power: 0 Plastic Body Retainers HELP!
I am in the process of replacing my 1997 Honda Civic front fender, inner splash shield & front bumper cover. There are numerous plastic retainers and I know they will break when I remove them. Does anyone know these part numbers so I can have them on hand during repairs? I have looked on the intranet and there are various sizes. Any help is appreciated!

best idea is just goto the dealer and get some. if the parts guy is nice, he's just give you a free handful. these are special clips and are not sold in stores or as generics.

There's a place in Reno http://www.re-fastener.com/specialty-hardware.html that sells those & other trim fasteners cheap but I don't know if they do online sales. They're on Rock south of Mill, Gearbox.

Thanks for all the replies! I have found numerous resources, but my question is: Which size goes where? Their sizes are so close... 15mm head 11mm stem 8mm hole to 16mm head to 15mm stem 8mm square hole, etc. Some are described with 20mm heads! The description are suppose to be for the inner splash panel. What's right or wrong sizes to use for this car? That's all I need. Thanks

bigger ones are for bumper, smaller ones for fender. check the website i gave, it tells you descriptions and pics where they go.

I know this is old thread but hay, if you do it right the clips go back just fine. Pull center out first and than the clip will come out. I busted one or two before figure out.

they do get loose tho and sometimes will not fit back tightly. the ebay aftermarket clips are a bargain and work as good as oem.
