Surging Throttle

I've been trying to replace my downstream o2 sensor. Started with the universal and still had the CEL and code. I just put a new Bosch OEM and CEL came back on. Code reads P0134 ckt no activity. I have another o2 sensor ordered in. Since the whole O2 sensor ordeal I've noticed the engine surges while accelerating going down the road. Does it sound like the O2 sensor would cause the surging, does the code mean I'm not getting enough voltage to the O2 sensor heater, or try cleaning the TPS? Go figure this is all happening when I'm ready to sell it. I had the head gasket, timing belt, water pump, plugs/wires at 120K miles when the head gasket blew.

Re: Surging Throttle

Throw away all of the Bosch parts.

Install the correct DENSO or NTK sensor(s), whichever brand was installed at the factory.

Re: Surging Throttle

So, you think the O2 sensor is the cause of my surging? It doesn't do it all the time either.

The problem started when you changed it? Absolutely!

Hear me now, believe me later!

The car was not built with Bosch parts.

You need to use the sensors the factory designed the car with.

You need to use the correct A/F sensor. (It is not an oxygen sensor.)
